Horizontal crusher

The horizontal crusher is an easy-to-operate and stable material crushing equipment, typically used in organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer workshops for initial coarse crushing. Its intuitive structure features top feeding and bottom discharge, resulting in a short material path, preventing clogging, and making it easy for operators to master. The equipment has a large processing capacity, crushing several to tens of tons of material per hour, suitable for continuous production. Daily operation mainly involves controlling the feeding speed and checking screen wear, requiring minimal adjustments, making it a practical basic configuration for organic fertilizer crushing sections.

Working Principle

Material enters the crushing chamber through the top feed inlet and falls onto the high-speed rotating horizontal main shaft. Crushing hammers or blades on the main shaft powerfully impact the material, breaking it up and throwing it against the chamber wall liner. The material is repeatedly impacted and crushed within the chamber, while simultaneously moving downwards to the screen. Particles of suitable fineness pass through the screen holes and are discharged from the machine, while coarse material is intercepted by the screen and further crushed until the required output is achieved. Throughout the entire crushing process, material flows smoothly from top to bottom without stagnation or accumulation.

Operating Instructions

Before starting the machine, open the maintenance door to check if the crushing components are intact and secure, if the screen is damaged, and if there is any residual material inside the chamber. After closing the maintenance door, start the machine empty. Once it is running normally, begin feeding material evenly.

Maintain a stable feed rate to prevent sudden increases or decreases that could overload the motor or cause insufficient crushing. During production, carefully observe the fineness of the output material and the motor current. If the output material becomes coarser or the current is abnormal, stop the machine immediately for inspection.

Before stopping the machine, stop feeding first and wait until all material inside the machine is emptied before disconnecting the power. For long-term shutdowns, clean the residual material inside the machine to prevent moisture absorption and clumping.

Application Scope

Organic Fertilizer Production Line: Coarse crushing and breaking up clumps of fermented materials to prepare for fine crushing and granulation.

Compound Fertilizer Production Line: Crushing and processing of raw material clumps and returned screening materials.

Bio-Organic Fertilizer Production: Crushing and breaking up fermented materials; ambient temperature operation does not affect the activity of the microbial agent.

Agricultural Waste Processing: Crushing and pulverizing materials such as straw and mushroom residue.

Organic Fertilizer Powder Production: Direct screening and packaging of crushed materials.
