A double shaft paddle mixer and its accompanying fertilizer screw conveyor, customized for a client in Malaysia, have successfully passed a remote video-based inspection. Following the client’s online confirmation of the equipment’s operational status, both units were loaded into a container and dispatched to Port Klang.
The inspection was conducted via a video call lasting approximately 50 minutes. Our technical staff demonstrated several functions of the double shaft paddle mixer, including no-load startup, forward and reverse rotation, the opening and closing of the quick-access bottom cleaning door, and the emergency stop/reset mechanism. They then operated the screws conveyor to showcase its variable-frequency speed control and material-jam alarm system. The client was particularly concerned about potential material residue when processing wet substances; to address this, our technicians introduced a small batch of palm kernel meal mixture into the mixer. Upon stopping the machine and opening the cleaning door, it was observed that there was no significant material adhesion to the vessel walls or the paddle blades.

Subsequently, both pieces of equipment were prepared according to export packaging standards. The mixer’s main shaft and paddle blades were coated with anti-rust grease and wrapped in stretch film. The screws conveyor was disassembled into sections, with flange connections sealed using plastic caps, and the motors and gearboxes protected with moisture-proof bags. During container loading, the main mixer unit was secured to the container floor using a steel frame, while the sections of the screws conveyor were placed in the available space on either side of the mixer and anchored to the floor lashing points with heavy-duty straps. Desiccants were placed inside the container, and photographs were taken before the doors were sealed. Documentation accompanying the shipment—including the inspection confirmation form, installation drawings, operation manuals, and packing lists—was provided in both Chinese and English. The goods have cleared customs and are now en route to their destination.
