Drum vibrating screen, also known as drum screening machine, is an efficient screening equipment used to separate materials of different particle sizes. It is widely used in material screening operations in industries such as mining, building materials, chemical, food, and agriculture. It combines the advantages of drum screen and vibrating screen, and achieves precise classification and screening of materials through the joint action of drum rotation and vibration device.
Equipment Structure And Composition
The drum vibrating screen is mainly composed of the following parts:
Drum body: The drum body is the core component of the equipment, consisting of a screen, a support frame, and a drum shell. The aperture of the sieve is designed according to the screening requirements to separate materials of different particle sizes.
Vibration device: usually composed of a motor, eccentric block, or vibration spring, used to generate vibration, evenly distribute materials in the drum, and improve screening efficiency.
Drive device: including motor and reducer, providing rotational power for the drum body.
Support device: composed of a support frame and bearings, used to support the drum body and ensure its stable operation.
Inlet and outlet: The inlet is used for the entry of materials, and the outlet is designed according to the screening particle size to classify and discharge the screened materials.
Sealing device: used to prevent dust leakage and maintain a clean working environment.
Working Principle
The material enters the drum body of the drum vibrating screen from the feeding port, and the drum body rotates under the action of the driving device, while the vibrating device generates vibration. Under the rolling and vibration of materials in the drum, different particle sizes of materials are separated through screens with different apertures. Finer materials fall through the sieve aperture, while coarser materials continue to move along the drum until they are discharged from the discharge port. The drum vibrating screen has high screening efficiency, large processing capacity, and is suitable for continuous production.
