Powder Fertilizer Packing Machine
The powder fertilizer packing machine is a core piece of equipment in the finished product packaging section of organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer production lines. It is specifically designed to fill powdered fertilizer into bags according to a set weight. Powdered fertilizers have poor flowability, are prone to dust generation, and easily absorb moisture, placing high demands on the feeding method and sealing performance of the packaging equipment. The powder fertilizer packing machine effectively solves the metering and dust problems in powder fertilizer packaging through a reasonable feeding design and sealing structure. The equipment receives material from the finished product hopper in the production line, completing the conversion from bulk powder to bagged finished product. It is the final step in the commercialization process for fertilizer companies.
Working Principle
Material enters the buffer hopper above the packing machine from the finished product hopper. After the packaging bag is placed over the discharge port and fixed by the bag clamping mechanism, the feeding screw rotates rapidly, forcibly feeding the powdered fertilizer into the packaging bag. A weighing sensor continuously weighs the material inside the bag and transmits the signal to the control system. When the weight reaches the fast feeding set value, the feeding screw switches to slow speed, and finally stops feeding and releases the bag clamp after accurately reaching the target weight. Bags filled with fertilizer powder fall onto the conveyor belt and are sent to the sealing station. After the system resets, the next bag packaging cycle begins.
Equipment Composition
Buffer Hopper: Receives material from the upstream finished product silo, maintaining a certain material reserve to ensure continuous feeding.
Feeding Screw: Driven by a variable frequency motor, it achieves two-stage speed switching, ensuring uniform and stable feeding.
Weighing Sensor and Scale: Employs a high-precision weighing module to collect weight data in real time.
Bag Clamping and Sealing Mechanism: Pneumatically clamps the bag and seals the outlet to prevent dust leakage.
Control System: Composed of a PLC and touch screen, allowing setting of parameters such as target weight and feeding speed.
Conveying and Sealing Connection: After filling, the bags are conveyed to the sewing machine or heat sealing machine.
Operating Precautions
Before starting the machine, check for foreign objects in the hopper, ensure the feeding screw operates flexibly, and verify that the weighing system zeroes correctly. When bagging, ensure the bag opening is completely inside the outlet and the bag clamping mechanism is properly engaged.
During operation, carefully observe the weighing instrument display. If the weight deviation is too large, check the feeding screw and weighing sensor. Powdered fertilizer is prone to absorbing moisture and clumping; when shutting down, the feeding screw and hopper should be emptied of any remaining material.
Regularly calibrate the weighing system to ensure measurement accuracy. The electrical cabinet should be dustproof and moisture-proof; in dusty environments, clean it regularly. When packaging different weight specifications, parameters must be reset on the touchscreen and a trial package should be performed for verification.
